Urban Legends Terms of Service

Urban Legends is an interactive tour guide for any age. The app is still in development; features, tour coverage, and availability may change. These Terms apply when you use any version made available by UpTempo Group.

Tour content is intended for all ages. A parent or guardian must authorize a minor’s use where required by law and is responsible for supervising children during tours. Children should not submit personal information or create accounts unless the service expressly supports this with required parental authorization.

You are responsible for choosing safe, lawful, and suitable routes. Stay aware of traffic, weather, terrain, accessibility, and local conditions. Do not use the app while driving or enter private property, restricted areas, or unsafe locations. Follow posted signs and local rules; supervise children at all times.

The app is not an emergency service or a substitute for official navigation, professional guidance, or your own judgment. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

Tour information may include folklore, legends, and interpretive storytelling that should not be treated as verified historical fact. Details such as access, opening hours, routes, and conditions can change. Verify important information with the venue or relevant authority; we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability.

Use the service lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, exploit security weaknesses, infringe others’ rights, or submit abusive or unlawful material. If accounts are offered, keep your credentials secure. We may restrict access for violations of these Terms.

UpTempo Group and its licensors retain rights in the app and its content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. Third-party services and venues have their own terms; their inclusion does not imply endorsement or guaranteed access.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that a suggested tour is safe or suitable for every person. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpTempo Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may change or discontinue development-stage features and update these Terms. Updates will be reflected in the last-updated date, with additional notice where required by law.
